Nick Uricchio

Nick Uricchio is an American surfboard shaper who has played a major role in the development of Portuguese surfing. After moving to Portugal in 1979, he helped establish one of the country's first surfboard factories before co-founding Semente Surfboards in Ericeira in 1982 with Miguel Katzenstein. Known for his craftsmanship and close collaboration with surfers, Nick has shaped boards for generations of Portuguese and international surfers. In 2015, he was named Shaper of the Year at the Ondas de Ouro Surf Awards.
